"Dear Dave Palma, I am writing with dripping disdain for State Farm. I have had a state farm policy since the day I got my license at 16 years old in Texas. I am now 50 and have been with your particular office since 1995..almost 30 years. I was shocked and horrified to find out that the policy on my car had been canceled without so much as a phone call. I did, however, find out from the nice letter the DMV sent telling me that I had no insurance as of July 7th. Today is the 22nd of August. I am not exactly sure why my particular car was canceled and no others as I have had no accidents in YEARS. The one I did have in 2018 (and only one ever)with this vehicle came from a tire tread coming off of a semi directly in front of me on I-95. I have had the windshield replaced two times from a rock flying off of another vehicle which is no fault of mine. Nor is said tire tread mentioned above. I cannot avoid that situation unless I stop driving altogether. Which is now what I think State Farm is going for... with their remaining customers (for now)No tickets, no accidents just glass...which I paid for- for the last 30 years in your office. This situation was made even better when I learned that almost everyone will refuse to give you an insurance policy unless you currently have an active one. I did secure some, finally. Thanks for your care and concern. Now I have the pleasure of waiting to see what fine I'm imposed for every single day I was driving with no insurance.. unknowingly. This is sad and insane for a person who does exactly what one is supposed to do. I am now forced to distribute this letter on my secret social media account to warn others that State Farm is in fact NOT a good neighbor by any stretch(more than 5 million viewers).
